Congratulations University of Cincinnati!   UC jumps 13 spots in the US News & World Report’s 2012 rankings of “Best National Universities.” It was among the largest gains in a single year by any institution. Some points of pride presumably tied to this rise include: 6 programs ranked in the Top 15 in the country; admissions applications reached an all-time high; the international student population grew by 9% in a single year; the Honors Program welcomed its largest and strongest class;
  and library holdings surpassed the 4 million volumes mark.

UC's accelerated transformation extends beyond the rankings to the day–to–day lives of our people and programs. The incoming class, for example, is stronger than ever. We are welcoming 4,300 first-year students to the Uptown Campus and 2,000 to UC Blue Ash and Clermont College. Incoming students on the Uptown Campus bring a mean ACT score of 25 and a high school GPA of 3.44. Among them are 1,225 Cincinnatus Scholars, 360 Honors Program Participants, 45 National Merit and National Achievement Scholars, 30 Darwin T. Turner Scholars and 145 student athletes. In short, UC is increasingly a destination for highly accomplished students.
Market Prices are stabilizing and going up slightly depending on the area.  Median prices are up 1.5% in June for Cincinnati. Find out whats sold in your neighborhood recently.  Just CLICK on Homes Values Cincinnati.com

Look for our next exciting project in Cincinnati from Cranewoods Development.  We are searching for new opportunities and have a couple new properties coming on market soon.  In the mean time see what the press is saying about Cranewoods Development and founder Andrew Howe:

“Real estate risks that send some developers running – those mired in financial woes or are in need of considerable modifications – are exactly what drive Andy Howe. A Wyoming native, Howe is head of Cranewoods Development LLC in Jacksonville,  Fla. There, he spends most of his time working as a consultant to developers and lenders trying to reach deals for projects impacted by the real estate boom and bust. “We help stalled projects get restarted,” he says. And that’s exactly what brought Howe back to Cincinnati.” ” -  The Cincinnati Enquirer 2011

” ‘Fixer’ Andrew Howe pushes to revive stalled Schoolhouse Lofts project. After 18 months in limbo, the Schoolhouse Lofts project in East Walnut Hills got a new lease on life in May, when developer Andrew Howe cut a deal with lenders and lien holders on the stalled project” -   The Business Courier 2011

“A Cincinnati-born developer who relocated to the booming Florida market in the 1990s has now returned to restart a stalled downtown condo project [The McFarland Lofts].” – The Business Courier 2010

“When a local bank brought Howe aboard as a consultant on a stalled condo project in Jacksonville last year, “a light- bulb went on,” he says. Cranewoods took over the project, resurrected construction and brought the eight-story condo project to completion. ……………… Howe parlayed the experience into a full-time venture, offering hourly consulting to lenders with stalled projects on their hands, and has since taken over and completed more stalled high-rise condos, four in Jacksonville and one in downtown Cincinnati.” –  Engineering News Record Magazine2010
